Het Hathor Consort werd in 2012 opgericht door Romina Lischka. Onder haar artistieke leiding wijdt het consort zich aan muziek uit renaissance en barok waarin een strijkersensemble van gamba's centraal staat. Tegelijkertijd zoekt de groep naar nieuwe uitdrukkingsmogelijkheden waarin dit geraffineerde kamermuziekrepertoire van Europese oorsprong in multidisciplinaire en interculturele concertvormen wordt gecombineerd met oude muziek van andere continenten en met hedendaagse muziek, wereldmuziek en dans.

Dorothee Mields, een van Europa’s toonaangevende sopranen binnen de barokstijl, betovert met haar heldere en warme stem. Ze werkte samen met oudemuziekspecialisten zoals Philippe Herreweghe en Rudolf Lutz en vertolkt werken van Bach, Händel, Monteverdi en Purcell. Naast barokmuziek richt ze zich ook op renaissance- en hedendaagse muziek en kamermuziekprojecten.

Hana Blažíková is Tsjechisch sopraan en harpiste, en sinds 2008 vast onderdeel van het Tiburtina ensemble. Ze focust zich op muziek uit de middeleeuwen, renaissance, en barok, en trad op met orkesten zoals de Bachvereniging, L’Arpeggiata en het Boston Symphony Orchestra.

In Venice in 1650, Barbara Strozzi defied all conventions. The virtuoso singer fought her way to a successful career as a composer without financial support. Her secret weapon: sublime songs that she published herself. In 2025, Strozzi is known as one of the most talented and productive creators of her time. Hathor Consort paints her portrait with the magnificent soprano voices of Dorothee Mields and Hana Blažíková.

The Hathor Consort was founded in 2012 by Romina Lischka. Under her artistic direction, the consort devotes itself to Renaissance and Baroque music centred around the viola da gamba. At the same time, the group seeks new ways of expression in which this refined chamber music repertoire of European origin is combined in multidisciplinary and intercultural concert forms with early music from other continents and with contemporary music, world music and dance.

Dorothee Mields, one of Europe's leading Baroque sopranos, captivates with her clear and warm voice. She has collaborated with early music specialists such as Philippe Herreweghe and Rudolf Lutz, interpreting works by Bach, Handel, Monteverdi, and Purcell. In addition to Baroque music, she explores Renaissance and contemporary music as well as chamber music projects.

Hana Blažíková is a Czech soprano and harpist, and since 2008 a regular member of the Tiburtina ensemble. She focuses on music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque periods, and has performed with orchestras such as the Bach Society, L'Arpeggiata and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
